Dublin is a city and county seat of Laurens County, Georgia, United States. The population was 16,074 at the 2020 census. The City of Dublin, Georgia was incorporated by the Georgia General Assembly on December 9, 1812, and made the county seat of Laurens County, Georgia. The original postmaster, Jonathan Sawyer, named the town Dublin after the capital of his Irish homeland, Dublin, Ireland.
