If you have the time to wander, you should just get lost on the narrow winding streets. Lots of atmosphere of a Greek town with.a Venetian flavor. Lots of souvenir stands that get a little tiresome… Full review by Thomas V

I stayed at the Hotel Atlantis which is by the port so good if you want to take trips to the islands or even to Saranda, Albania. Its 15 minutes from the airport and in the old town. Its a modest hotel, but with air con and rooms en suite and breakfast. I travelled in January so everything was closed but there are regular buses to get you about.

It really depends on what type of break you are looking for. If it's a relaxing beach holiday in a beautiful surrounding, then definitely Kassiopi with a couple of lovely beaches (never crowded) but also a great place for eating, exploring and just taking it easy. However,if it's more "cultural" then Corfu Town is a must.Plenty of places to visit, great museums, and lovely little alleyways with various shops. The town does boast a "beach" but it is really only harbour like into the sea. Either way two great places.
