This is the highest point in Alabama and therefore has some nice overlooks. I think it was $5 pp to enter and took about 30 minutes to drive through the whole park. It was a nice detour from our high… Full review by KK78

When you stay in a cabin do you park your car right next to it or far away? Just wondering about parking situation for the cabins.
A:
Yes. Right next to the cabin walkway.

How much is the train ride?
A:
We were there in Nov 2021 and did not see anything about a train ride. May need to call the park directly.

We are here currently staying in Chalet #12. My Verizon phone and internet work! However when waking around the other chalets and thru the campground my Verizon doesn’t work. In the evenings I parked my car at the restaurant and could use wifi on my laptop from my car. FYI
