Has anyone that has visited here can compare to other zoos in other states? I visited Columbus zoo LOTS. Cincinnati zoo prior to harambes departure. My friend been to riverbanks in Columbia. I’ve been to zootastic and tigerworld. Ohio, South Carolina, and North Carolina. We travel through here. I thought about is it worh budgeting time when I’m trying to get to Orlando or should go to Jax instead? Details please. My faves are any cats!

Unfortunately, this zoo is rather sad compared to other zoos around the nation. Nice for a short visit with young kids, though.

There is a food concession once you enter the park which actually has good food and there’s a hot dog/ice cream place with shaded picnic area further back in the park. I don’t know if they rent wheelchairs but it is certainly wheelchair accessible as most of the walkways are wooden boardwalks.
