This is a great place for either day or evening. We got a boat trip from the bay which was lovely. There us loads of places to eat and drink. Full review by pauld267

So many bars down the bay. But you may want to check out the tides bar and restaurant in st davids hotel and spa.

If you are in the city itself the National Museum of Cardiff, Cathays Park, CF10 3NP tells the story of how Wales was formed from tectonic action, has visual displays, dinosaurs, fossils, paintings, sculptures & porcelain. We spent a marvellous 3 hours there. It has a café and it's free. Cardiff Bay itself has more bars and cafes and you can take a boat trip around the bay but less about art and history. Enjoy yourself whatever you choose.
