30 min. could be enough. I would stay that 1 hour is too much.

Yes, it is in fact the most western part of land in Europe. The views are beautiful, so it is worth a visit. It’s very, very windy, wear a jacket. Also, our tour guide warned us that thieves and pick pockets like this spot so please be careful. I guess people get distracted trying to see the view and taking photos and aren’t paying attention to their belongings. Hope you enjoy your visit.

I did it - it's half an hour drive from Sintra (20 km). Do it after finish seeing other sites in Sintra, and half an hour before sunset. Nice view.
