Impossibly blue. Water is so clear. Worthwhile seeing this natural beauty. All the entrance fees start adding up (I think we paid cash VT 1,000 each and maybe half price for the teens) but it's a go… Full review by 214anisham
Which tour buses go to Nanda Blue Hole and do many go from Champagne Bay that will return to the ship on time? How does the Hibiscus Blue Lagoon compare with the Nanda Blue Hole? Thank you.
A:
Paradise tours seem to be the best and most reliable in Santo. Nanda blue is spectacular and you will have plenty of time to go to champagne beach and Port Olry
Traveling to Luganville and will get there monday, what are the costs to get to nanda blue hole and also entry? Also are there markets along the way? How long does it take to get there?

As far as I know, they only put the market on for the cruise ships stopping at Champagne Bay, which BTW is very much worth the visit and we visited the Blue Lagoon thru a tour from there and it was $7.00 to get in, worth it I think when you have spent all that money getting there, it was out of this world. We went to the Blue Hole with Paradise Tours just google them and you can arrange before you leave home and just give them cash when they pick you up, its extra for the lagoon as you pay the landowner. If you are into snorkeling you should also visit Million Dollar Point. This is a great island you will have a great time, so much to see and the people are lovely, check out my reviews if you like, we loved it so much we are going back. Enjoy!
We are visiting Santo on cruise ship and would like to travel to Blue Hole via local taxi -how long will this take and what is the approx cost? Or we have heard that we could visit via canoe? thank you-we look forward to meeting you and swimming there

There are several Blue Holes on Santos. we visited two of them, neither had any canoes in sight. There is one that you do paddle to via canoe - we saw them paddling - just not sure where we were exactly :) To visit Nando Blue Hole (our fav), allow 2hrs for the return trip to the ship inc a nice long swim. The local 'taxis' vary a lot in quality, size and price. Four of us negotiated a price of $20 ea for the 6 hours of our trip (gave a $20 tip as Cliff our driver was excellent) His ride was a late model Hilux dual cab. We rode INSIDE with AC. Many other taxi rides were in the back of a ute sitting on timber planks with no seatbelts. Some of the roads are dirt and rough .... many like to drive quite quickly. Word of Caution : Prices asked vary wildly - some passengers paid double our fare - and they rode in the ute tub. DO NOT get into a cab unless the driver answers very clearly what the cost is, where you are going and for how long. Nail it down .... or he may just take you for a 'ride'. Enjoy the experience!
My partner uses a walking stick. Does the access to the Nanda Blue Hole have any steep paths or steps? Or is it level ground to get there? Is there an easily accessible area where he can sit and watch? How far is it from the port at Luganville?

Essentially, easy to access, relatively flat. Fantastic decks on both sides of the hole itself with tables and seats - even fruit provided to enjoy (no cost). Coffee shop near the deck and toilets were clean :) We did not go there directly from Luganville, but taking the shortest route, I don't think it would take more than 20 minutes .... and our driver was not a maniac! $10 entry ea included a fresh coconut. We visited there end of May '16 ..... it was one of the highlights of our holiday.
