We first visited here when we moved to Florida a few months ago and dogs were allowed. No longer. New signs poste at the beach and adjacent park “NO PETS”. Bummer. Full review by 420clemc

Yes but stay in channel unless you know the area. It takes patience and learning to navigate oyster and Sand bars but probably the fishing inshore fishing in the Nature Coast for Red Fish, Trout, Cobia and great off shore if you have the boat for it.

There are no fees to use Bird Creek Park or the beach. When we were there, the restrooms were locked and a couple of porta potties where there. They were clean and had little smell so they are serviced regularly. The beach part of the park is not huge. The parking lot is free and large.
