I too visited the museum when it was in DC, maybe 20 years ago(?). There must be some carry over artifacts, but the new museum is a fair amount larger, laid out differently and has extensive material to read for more detailed info. New one also has interactive displays that I don't remember being in the one in DC. Always fascinating to learn about cooks! SJD

I was just a visitor and have no idea what their policies are. I googled "alcatraz east crime museum" and clicked on tickets and found this: Adults(13-60): $29.95 Seniors(61+): $23.95 Children(8-12): $19.95 Law/Military: $23.95 I didn't see anything about special prices for teachers. My suggestion would be to do the same google search and contact them from their website to ask your question.
